Down In Autumn is a Northern Irish ‘band’ that mainly consists of one member.

Occasionally other people will lend their talents to various recordings and performances, but usually Down In Autumn is small, mostly-acoustic, home-recorded songs all scrappily put together by me, Thomas McCann.

Down In Autumn’s been going since about 2005, and I’ve made a bunch of albums and Eps over the years. You can download most of these recordings from this site (the discography section) and whenever I finish anything new, you can expect to find it here for download.

I always record these songs by myself in whatever bedroom/living room I happen to find myself in at the time, they’re all recorded on fairly cheap gear that I’m constantly learning how to use better, and pretty much everything to do with Down In Autumn has a DIY-ethic.
